I was always confused, when I heard the word “service” used by departments like Intelligence Service, Police Service, Postal Service, Telephone Service, Civil Service, Public Service, Customer Service etc.

Yesterday, I heard two dairy farmers talking. One of them said to the other that he had hired a bull to “service” his cows.

Now I understand what ‘service’ means and what all those departments are doing to this poor Nation….
